Liked it well enough, but it was far from perfect. It gets conviluded in it's own craziness, and a simplistic plot gets so twisted up that it's surprisingly hard to follow. By the end I'd pretty much stopped caring where the characters were, or where they were going and rather concentrated on their current goals.
In all honesty though, if the next one is good, this one's dreariness will be well worth it, because it'll be a great segway.
...we'll see next summer if it paid off I suppose.
