My sister and I are arguing over the last scene and what it means she's dumb and what she thinks is dumb. It was that Dicaprio was fully aware who he was (as in Andrew, not Teddy) but would pretend again to be Teddy because he would like to die, in his persona, a good man instead of the "monster" who shot his wife?
She believes it was the opposite that the twist was the lie he assumed it was and just accepted he would not be leaving the island and gave up. Retarded right?

You're probably right but I hate ambiguous endings like that. I don't think they were going to kill him though man. They were going to cut up his brain.

Yeah I meant to put die in quotations sorry.
Also... super fucking boring, right? I liked it a lot as soon as I got in my car... but I know I was bored and all sorts of impatient while I was watching it. I'm thinking like, "wow it was really cool after he talks to that woman in the cave and you know they're all waiting to trap him into getting violent" but on the other hand it never felt like there was any sort of danger or consequence to the any of the danger he got in (which is probably because yeah, the ending was obvious as soon as the doctor gave him the aspirin).

Yeah, really fucking boring. The twist came and instead of having a reaction like, "Holy shit I can't believe this" I was like, "Oh, hmm." Really anti-climactic.

I don't really wanna fault him on the twist... Like, I was just talking to Kyle about it and he hasn't seen it yet but already figured what it was from just the basic idea of the plot so I don't think the movie was really all about building up to the twist... on the other hand it didn't really have any I don't know.. weight to it? I never worried for the character or felt he was in any danger of anything. Some stuff was just happening until the pieces moved into place and that took goddamn forever.
All his hallucinations were fucking great, though.

Asked if he thought it was a good investment to spend so much of his own money in a two-way Democratic primary to run against a popular Republican with millions in campaign cash, Greene replied: “Rather than just save the $10,000 and just go and buy gasoline with it, just take [it] and just be unemployed for [an] even longer period of time, I mean, that wouldn’t make any sense, um, just, um, but, uh, yes, uh … lowering these gas prices … that will create jobs, too. Anything that will lower the gasoline prices. Offshore drilling, the energy package, all that.”

I don't really think it was ambiguous.

I actually enjoyed the movie better than the four other people I went with, because I knew the ending and I wanted to see how they pulled it off... and I think they did it rather nicely. Everyone else was disappointed in the ending. That says something about the movie.
