Vermont barely barely barely passed a legal gay marriage thing today proving once again they're pretty cool, and even in Iowa (Iowa!) a ruling said it was okay (some asshole will put it as a ballot initiative but hey not bad). But California was all like "fuck that shit", Iowa before California what's up w/ that? But what about YOUR STATE? Nate Silver sez: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2009/04/will-iowans-uphold-gay-marriage.htmlSupposedly New York will have them this year! They probably actually won't and I kind of doubt this as he doesn't take into account "Mormons" or "hicks" alongside "evangelicals" which would put like Utah squarely in 2048. But watching Pat Robertson types freak out should be mad fun if he's anywhere close to right. Discuss sanctity of marriage and Leviticus itt

Gray isn't visible during most of the interview — thank God — but about five minutes into their talk LeBron glances down slightly, and suddenly I was conscious of feeling Gray's off-camera eyes locked on LeBron's crotch during LeBron's answers.

62% of Florida also voted to "define marriage as between only one man and one woman" during the Presidential election.

Respek to Vermont for being the first state to legalize it by a vote, not by a court ruling. That's democracy, not oligarchy.

Respek to South Carolina for being the first state to kill niggaz by a vote, not by a court ruling. That's democracy, not oligarchy.

Massachusetts already passed it. Colorado will do so in the next decade. So will California. New Hampshire has civil unions, which is good enough for now, but they'll pass it in the next two decades.
That's every state I've lived in except for ennui, and nobody votes for anything in a state of ennui.
